How often is Artificial Intelligence used in Cyber Security?

The figure today is almost as high as 70%, with stats indicating that almost 67% of cybersecurity professionals use AI primarily to create rules reflecting known security patterns and indicators (Ponemon Institute). As many as 50% of organizations use AI to compensate for a cybersecurity skills gap.

AI can identify potentially malicious activities and threat actors, allowing organizations to predict and prevent cyberattacks before they occur.

However, how is the normal search engine operation affected? While AI may not immediately kill traditional search, it will undoubtedly force traditional search engines to rethink their approach to the search experience. This is a pattern which will see traditional methods perhaps change dramatically in the next five years.

How popular has AI become in the cyber security of the world ?  The Global Vibrancy Tool 2024 from the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI shows that the U.S. is the global leader in artificial intelligence, followed by China and the United Kingdom. There is no statistical evidence yet of usage in Africa.
